We are seeking a proactive ERP Support Specialist to enhance and optimize our Epicor ERP system, with a focus on supporting our accounting team. Responsibilities:
- Technical and Functional Support: Provide technical and functional support for our Epicor ERP system, ensuring that financial and accounting processes operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Issue Analysis and Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot ERP and database issues related to financial transactions, reporting, and compliance, offering effective solutions to end users.
- Process Mapping and System Improvement: Assist in process mapping, system testing, deployment, and security access to improve system efficiency, particularly in financial and accounting modules.
- ERP Customizations: Design, develop, and maintain ERP customizations to enhance financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities.
- Training and Empowerment: Conduct training sessions to empower accounting staff with ERP best practices and ensure they can effectively utilize the system for financial management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially the accounting department, to align ERP solutions with financial objectives and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in ERP programming, implementation, or customization (Epicor experience is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#.Net, VB.Net, SQL Database, and database schema.
- Financial and Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of financial and accounting processes is essential for this role.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
